International Sales & Marketing Assistant - temporary contract c. £19000 (pro rata)
Period: Immediate start - November 2010
Full-time administrative role completing tasks relating to domestic & international sales and promotional activities and material. Typical activities include invoicing, order acknowledgements, data sheet issue, dealing with telephone enquiries, coordinating release of orders on credit hold, booking and organising exhibitions, preparation and update of brochures, websites and managing/coordinating/updating existing systems such as customer complaints, product information, market surveys from data supplied by the sales managers. Working as part of a team of 3 reporting to the Customer Service & Publicity Manager based in Thornton Cleveleys.
This role requires attention to detail, flexibility, the ability to prioritise conflicting workloads, experience of sales administration and/or exhibition management, excellent IT skills and the readiness to step in and cover the roles of colleagues who travel. Knowledge of a language (German, French, Italian, Spanish or Russian) would be an advantage but is not essential.
