Innovating Using Fluoropolymers’, SKZ Conference in Würzburg, 7 & 8 May 2019

AGCCE’s Phil Spencer is attending this year’s SKZ Innovations using Fluoropolymers conference in Würzburg, Germany, discussing modified ETFE solutions to meet changing market demands and new developments in ETFE performance. His main focus will be on:

  • The newly developed HT (High Temperature) ETFE grade, which allows high speed cable production, whilst meeting the German Automotive LV112 stress crack standards up to 200 °C service temperature – he will explain how this material is giving high performance in antistatic fuel lines
  • How to make a stiff ETFE cable more flexible for applications, needing high temperature – and high chemical resistance with a degree of flexibility, by blending ETFE (thermoplastic) with a Fluoro elastomer
  • The new AGC development, which for the first time allows, Polyethylene/Polypropylene to be co-extruded with ETFE, specifically for film, tubes, bottles, etc.

Phil’s talk will be on Tuesday, 07 May 2019 at 2.00 pm.
